Rajkot: While the entire government machinery of the country is engaged in its fight against the outbreak of Covid-19, the women of Tankara village in Morbi district have decided to help in their own way — by donating masks made by them at free of cost.
“Our intention is not to earn money from the sale of masks. We decided to contribute our bit in the fight against coronavirus,” said Kailash Jagodara, president of Mota Khijadia Gram Sakhi Sangh, a women’s association.
The women’s group led by Jagodara have made hundreds of masks. “So far, we have donated 300 masks to the health department of Morbi distict,” said Jagodara.
