Face masks to be compulsory for people stepping outdoors in Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal

NEW DELHI: In the wake of Covid-19 pandemic, Delhi government has decided to make it compulsory for people to wear masks while stepping out of their homes, said chief minister Arvind Kejriwal.
Delhi CM said in a tweet that wearing facial masks can reduce the spread of coronavirus substantially and a decision has been taken to make them mandatory.

"Wearing of facial masks can reduce the spread of coronavirus substantially. Therefore, it has been decided that facial masks will be compulsory for anyone stepping out of their house. Cloth mask shall be eligible too," he said.
