LUCKNOW: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath made it clear on Tuesday that the government had so far not taken a call on when or how to lift the 21-day lockdown and would review the situation around April 11 or 12, about 48 hours before the stipulated period ends.
A day after additional chief secretary, home, Awanish Awasthi, said that due to the high number of cases from among those who attended the Tablighi Jamaat in Delhi, it would be premature to presume that the lockdown would be lifted on April 14, the CM also asked members of the Jamaat who had attended the Nizamudin event and were unaccounted for, to come out and declare themselves to the administration.
Addressing journalists from across the state through video-conferencing, the CM said that the decision would be taken only in consultation with the Centre.
