US President Donald Trump has demanded an anti-malarial drug 'Hydroxychloroquine' from India. After this, the discussion has started in the whole world whether Coronavirus can be killed by anti-malarial drugs? However, the use of the drug by itself can be dangerous for health.

The Government of India has decided that this medicine will be given to health workers engaged in the treatment of patients and those in contact with the infected patient. The government has already made it clear that there is less evidence of the effect of the drug and on this basis, only the health workers can use the medicine. What is hydroxychloroquine

The brand name of hydroxychloroquine is Plaquenil which is used in the treatment of malaria.

The drug was allowed to be used by the US in the year 1955. The 128th drug most commonly written in America.

WHO has placed the list of essential medicines. In 2017, hydroxychloroquine was the most commonly prescribed drug by American doctors, used by nearly 5 million people.

There can also be a variety of problems after eating hydroxychloroquine. It is prominent in running nose, abdominal pain and frequent defecation. With unbearable pain in the stomach, diarrhea, cardiac discomfort after eating the medicine, it is possible that the digestive system will deteriorate, there will be headaches and vomiting that will start with running nose.

Corona is a stalemate on the treatment of corona-infected patients with anti-malarial drugs. Dr. Anthony Fossey, director of the American Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has opposed the treatment of Corona patients with this drug.

He doubted the quality of the drug and said that there is no evidence of how effective it would be. Similarly, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention has said that no such evidence has been found on the basis of which it is possible to treat corona with malaria drugs.
