Tablighi Jamaat case reached the Supreme Court, calls for an immediate ban and CBI investigation

The case of Tablighi Jamaat has reached the Supreme Court on Tuesday. Ajay Gautam has written a letter to the Chief Justice of the country, calling for a ban on the Tablighi Jamaat and banning all its activities.

Ajay Gautam has requested that the Supreme Court should pass a directive to the Delhi Government and the Ministry of Home Affairs to stop all activities of the Tablighi Jamaat with immediate effect. Also, in this letter, it has been said that the building at Nizamuddin of Tabligi Jamaat should be demolished under the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act.

Apart from this, the CBI has been demanded to investigate the alleged allegations of spreading coronavirus infection on Tablighi Jamaat. He has filed a petition demanding that it be seen as public interest litigation and heard.
