RDSO organises a webinar on signalling installations of Indian Railways

LUCKNOW: Research Designs and Standard Organization (RDSO) has organised a webinar on ‘Installation and Maintenance Practices in Signalling Installations of Indian Railways’, which started on Tuesday, April 7, and would continue till April 10, 'to best utilize this adverse time with constructive activities.'
Total 10 sessions of 75 minutes each have been planned to discuss ways to further improve reliability of signalling systems at site.
Signal engineers from all zonal railways directly involved in maintenance activities have been invited to attend the Webinar.
On Tuesday, total 230 participants from all zonal railways, Kolkata Metro and Konkan Railway Corp. Ltd attended directly on WebEx and about 400 railway officials saw live coverage on YouTube.
Rajiv Kant Jain, executive director, signal (co-ordination), RDSO, said, "It is a maiden effort to organise a technical Webinar on such a large scale in which technical information is being directly disseminated to the maintenance level at site."
