The global death toll from coronavirus has passed 76,000. There are more than 1.3 million known cases of infection but more than 292,000 people have recovered, according to the Johns Hopkins University tally
In Australia, the death toll stands at 50 and there are 5908 confirmed cases. Victoria has 1212 cases of coronavirus, 21 more than yesterday. There was one more death overnight, bringing the total to 12.
