Over the past month, hundreds of Australians have been sharing the easy desserts and meals they've been making in their $69 Kmart air fryers with minimal ingredients.
And now a thrifty home cook has impressed foodies across the country with her recipe for an oozing single-serve butterscotch cake that requires just six ingredients to make.
To make the dessert, it simply involves melting 50 grams of butter and mixing it with 4 tablespoons of brown sugar, one egg and half a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Once this is completed all you need to do is add three tablespoons of plain flour and some white chocolate chips before placing the mixture in a greased ramekin and putting it into the fryer for 15 to 20 minutes on 180 degrees Celsius.

The cook also offered an option for those on a keto diet.
'You could replace the plain flour for coconut flour to help reduce the carbs,' she wrote.
'There is also a brand called Sukrin that does brown sugar alternatives which also is good for keto diets. This will just alter the flavours but I’m sure it’ll still taste great.'
For those that don't have an air fryer at home, one foodie suggested using a mug and a microwave for the same results.
'Looks delicious. However I personally would mix it in a mug and microwave for 60 seconds,' she wrote.
'Will be making these tomorrow for dessert. Thank you.'
While this idea will work, the air fryer will leave the top and base of the dessert more crisp than a microwave.
