- Jitendra Kumar Rathod, Associate Specialist in cardio-thoracic surgery at the University Hospital of Wales (UHW), was described as an "incredibly dedicated surgeon" by his National Health Service (NHS) workplace.
WhatsApp to limit sharing of frequently forwarded messages to one chat at a time
- WhatsApp will allow users to send frequently forwarded messages to only one chat at a time as part of efforts to curb spreading of misinformation amid the coronavirus pandemic.
- This limit will be in place once a message has been previously forwarded five times or more.
- The latest move comes as countries, including India, are initiating measures to tackle the spread of rumours, fake news and misinformation on social media platforms.
165 VIPs urge 20 economic powers for billions for COVID-19
- Many former global leaders and other VIPs urged the world's 20 major industrialised nations to approve USD 8 billion in emergency funding to speed the search for a vaccine, cure and treatment for COVID-19 and prevent a second wave of the coronavirus pandemic.
- In an open letter to governments of the Group of 20 nations, the leaders, ministers, top executives and scientists also called for USD 35 billion to support countries with weaker health systems and especially vulnerable populations, and at least USD 150 billion for developing countries to fight the medical and economic crisis.

The Delhi government will actively track the developments and action taken to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
Fourth T: Teamwork
New coronavirus can only be defeated through teamwork and I am happy that all states along with Centre are working together to stop the spread of the virus. We have to learn from other states. Doctors and nurses are key members of the teams. Their protection is paramount.
Third T: Treatment
2,950 beds are reserved for coronavirus patients, the chief minister said. LNJP, GB Pant and Rajiv Gandhi hospitals will treat only coronavirus patients. Beds in private hospitals have been identified where only coronavirus patientis will be treated. 12,000 hotel rooms will be taken over. Serious patients and elderly will be kept in hospitals and those with milder symptoms will be kept in hotels and dharamshalas. Delhi will receive PPE kits shortly from the Centre.
Second T: Tracing
After testing, next comes tracing. People are identified who have come in contact with a positive patient and are asked to self-quarantine. The help of Delhi Police is being taken to ensure that self-quarantine is being followed.

- The commerce ministry has designed an online platform for issuance of a key document required for exports to those countries with which India has trade agreements, with a view to facilitate shipments during the COVID-19 crisis.
- An exporter has to submit a 'certificate of origin' at the landing port of the importing country. The document is important to claim duty concessions under free-trade agreements (FTAs). This certificate is essential to prove where their goods come from.

- The Jaipur-Bikaner-Jodhpur-Ajmer-Jaipur parcel special will start at 3 pm from Jaipur and will return the next day at 7.15 pm, North Western Railway spokesperson said.

- Scores of Indian Americans have tested positive with the novel coronavirus and several of them have died, according to multiple news reports from community organisations and diaspora leaders from across the US, currently the global epicentre of the deadly disease.
- While there is no official or unofficial count of Indian-Americans infected with the coronavirus, information available on various private social media groups indicate that a significant number of them are in New York and New Jersey.

- A Chandrapur resident who recently returned from Indonesia and is quarantined at neighbouring Nagpur in Maharashtra has tested positive for coronavirus, an official said.
- The man is a member of the Islamic organisation Tablighi Jamaat and since he has not come back to Chandrapur after returning from Indonesia, the district administration is trying to gather more information about him, the official said on Monday.

- Total vehicle sales across categories had also declined by 15.85 per cent at 2,04,98,128 units April-February of 2019-20 as compared to 2,43,58,082 units in the comparable period previous fiscal, according to Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).
