Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned this 3T (Test, Trace and Treat) policy of South Korea as one of the most successful ways to deal with the Corona infection in a video conference with Indian envoys on Monday. 3T means to investigate, then to find out who the infected person met and to treat them.

According to the Hindustan Times report, Shin said, the Korean government's policy to stop Kovid-19 is to identify confirmed cases, identify people who come in contact with them so that the infection does not spread and infects the sooner. Treatment should be started as much as possible.

He said that South Korea currently has the capacity to check 15,000 people daily. So far, four lakh people have been examined and this work are being done at full capacity. He said, since no vaccine is available yet, identifying and isolating the infected is the most practical and effective method.

On the question of implementing this policy in India, he said, in the case of India, it was necessary to lock down the entire country in view of its size and large population. Nevertheless, in order to prevent the virus from reaching a large population, it is extremely important to investigate at a very fast pace and identify those who are infected with the virus and be quarantined.

Shin said the South Korean government was already ready to share all information with India in the fight against Corona. President Moon Jae-in and Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared their views on this in a virtual G20 conference. Also, in the future, with the help of their advanced information technology, bio, and pharmaceutical industries, both countries can cooperate in research in the field of fighting viral diseases.

Shin hoped that after the 21-day lockdown ended, the Indian government would address South Korea's concerns. He said, as you know, Korean companies like Samsung, LG, Hyundai, and Kiya have closed their plants due to the lockdown ... Our companies have made huge investments in India under 'Make in India' and The entire lockdown is proving to be a big loss for them.
