Amid 21-day nationwide lockdown due to Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), animals have got a free pass to roam around the streets. A 4.5-ft-long Indian cobra was spotted by security personnel inside the premises of Odisha state assembly in Bhubaneswar. The security personnel informed a snake helpline to rescue the reptile. Subhendu Mallik, founder of snake helpline and honorary wildlife warden, reached the spot and rescued the male cobra. The reptile was later released in its natural habitat out of the city.
