A couple being forced to quarantine in a luxury hotel because of COVID-19 have launched a scathing attack on the meals they are being provided.
Callum Shally and his girlfriend Shannen Wynne have been in isolation at the Crown Promenade hotel in the Perth suburb of Burwood for the last nine days.
The pair, who were living in Japan, returned to Australia in March after the Federal Government ordered anyone returning from overseas quarantine at hotels for 14-days.
Mr Shally, 26, posted pictures to Facebook on Tuesday of the food they had been given at the hotel, saying he was frustrated by the situation.

'I'm anaphylactic to peanuts and almonds and have told these guys on multiple occasions my dietary requirements, this morning was the second time I've been given food with nuts in it,' he wrote.
Among other complaints, Mr Shally said the couple, who are both vegetarian, were given food with meat - and had to wait until 9pm to be given replacements.
He also said Ms Wynne had been 'violently ill all night on the toilet.'
He said the only thing they ate differently was yesterday's lunch, which he 'looked at it and didn't touch.'
'We can understand the situation WA is in right now but for [Premier] Mark McGowan to call people disgusting, disrespectful and selfish for not being happy in these situations really frustrates us.'
'Imagine being locked in a room with no fresh air, being delivered food that you feel you can't trust, it's makes us wonder about the cross contamination of this food and what's really in it?'.
Hotels around Australia that would have been sitting empty because of travel bans are now being used to isolate returning travellers for the 14-day coronavirus quarantine, with police and army officers guarding the doors.

Perth influencer Jessica Pinili said that her five-star hotel quarantine was 'worse than being a prisoner.'
Western Australia's Premier Mark McGowan has shown little sympathy, saying that everyone is currently making sacrifices amid the coronavirus lockdown and 'staying in a hotel for a couple of weeks was a small price to pay.'

Mr Shally said the situation has left him frustrated and made Ms Wynne ill though he understood the need for the quarantine precautions
