BMW Motorrad dealers in India are accepting bookings for the R18.

BMW Motorrad just revealed the R18 cruiser motorcycle a couple of days back globally. Dealers in India have already started pre-bookings for the R18 with a booking amount of Rs. 1 lakh.

The cruiser motorcycle is expected to be priced around Rs. 18-20 lakhs (ex-showroom). The deliveries will commence from October in India.

The BMW R18 comes with a classic design language with modern equipment. It is powered by a unique 1802cc air and oil-cooled boxer twin engine that produces 91 HP at 4750 RPM and 158 Nm of torque at 3000 RPM.

This engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission linked to an exposed shaft drive. The BMW R18 comes with three riding modes – Rain, Roll and Rock. It features ASC (Automatic Stability Control) and Drag Torque Control as well.

Some of the goodies include hill-start control, reverse assist, adaptive headlight, anti-theft alarm, heated grips and lockable fuel filler cap.
