Mumbai: Now, mobility for physically challenged for dialysis during coronavirus lockdown

MUMBAI : Ezy Mov, a taxi service for the "mobility impaired" (physically challenged) in association with Amar Gandhi Foundation - an institution working with kidney disease-related issues has successfully piloted cluster-wise transportation for mobility-impaired dialysis patients in the city during the coronavirus lockdown.
Currently the cluster works in the suburban area between Borivali to Malad and in south Mumbai from Grant road to Churchgate area.
"We manage close to 50 plus daily return trips from both the clusters," said an official from Ezy Mov. "Since there is a huge shortage of public transport at disposal, we are looking at adding Ezy Mov vehicles for cluster transportation at central Mumbai shortly," said Samiir Halady, coordinator of activities for Amar Gandhi Foundation.
