CHENNAI: The TT Ranganathan Clinical Research Foundation is offering telecounselling services to people facing problems like withdrawals, mental health issues and violence at home due to alcohol addiction.
Maya Varadarajan, managing trustee of the organisation, said since people facing addiction issues are now locked indoors with their families, they may face more mental stress. If ignored, this might increase violence and crimes.
"In such cases, it is ideal to seek help. Help is available,” said Maya.
