MCG sets up mobile teams to fix sanitation flaws

GURUGRAM: To resolve issues related to sanitation during the lockdown period, MCG on Monday formed teams for each zone in the city.
“We have formed mobile teams for sanitation. We have two trucks and 40 people deployed to lift garbage. The move is to ensure that the essential services like sanitation is not affected during the lockdown. As soon as we receive any complaints from the residents, we send these mobile teams to lift the garbage from the area,” said Hariom Atri, joint commissioner-3, MCG.
“Around 200 vehicles of Ecogreen are lifting garbage from the city regularly. These mobile teams have been formed so that residents don’t have to face any problem,” said Ambika Prasad, sanitary officer-cum-senior sanitary inspector, MCG.
“Moreover, MCG has also deployed workers to carry out sanitisation across the city,” Prasad added.
