Panjab University postpones date for undergrad CET
Entrance Examination Will Be Held On May 16 Instead of April 26
Representational Image CHANDIGARH: The Panjab University in Chandigarh has rescheduled the date of entrance examination for PU-CET (UG)-2020. The entrance examination, for admission to B Pharmacy and B Sc (Hons), will now be held on May 16 instead of April 26.
Professor Parvinder Singh, controller of examinations, said the last date for submission of information on the website to generate bank challan has also been extended from April 10 to May 4. Aspiring students can also pay the examination fee by using net banking, debit card and credit card. After successful online payment, the candidate will be able to complete their form immediately.

Every year, around 20,000 students take the UG-CET after Class 12 for admission to undergraduate courses. The examination centres for the examination have been fixed at Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Hoshiarpur and Muktsar.
The Panjab University's controller of examination had earlier changed the date for submitting application for entrance examination, MET, for the University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS) to April 10. Till March 30, the varsity had received 1,800 applications for MET.
