Will assess situation on April 14, says Karnataka CM

BENGALURU: Chief minister BS Yediyurappa on Sunday again urged people to strictly follow lockdown norms to ensure the spread of the novel coronavirus is contained.
Raising concerns over the steady rise in Covid-19 positive cases in the state, especially in the districts of Bidar, Mysuru, Bengaluru Urban and Kalaburgi – all hotposts –the chief minister reiterated that relaxation of lockdown measures post April 14 will depends on how strictly people follow norms.
“We will assess the situation on April 14 on whether to extend the lockdown or not. Until then, successful implementation of measures is in your hands,” Yediyurappa said.
