Health Ministry on Covid-19 outbreak: With 693 positive cases in 24 hrs, number rises to 4067 in country

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Joint Secretary Lav Agarwal on April 06 informed about the current status of COVID-19 cases in the country and Centre and state governments preparations over it. He said that 291 people have recovered from COVID-19 and 4067 cases have been recorded till yet in which 1445 cases are from Tablighi Jamaat attendees. “693 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, taking the total number to 4067 in India out of which 1445 cases are related to Jablighi Jamaat. 76 per cent cases have been reported in males & 24 per cent in females,” he said.
