Lockdown: Update from Pune for Monday

* There is a shortage of foodgrains, such as jowar, wheat in shops in many places; foodgrain prices are Rs 10-12 above normal.
* Processed wheat flour, however, is available in good quantities.
* Dairy products like paneer, curd and were available in the morning.
* The district administration is set to become more stringent in its enforcement of the lockdown this week.
* The police have procured a special sanitization van that would enable personnel to step inside and sprayed by a sanitiser mist.
* Sanitiser mist showers, designed by the National Chemical Laboratory, will be installed in public places.
* Police ask housing societies’ heads to keep an eye on residents jogging or walking on the premises.
* The cantonment hospital will set up a 10-bed intensive care unit at a cost of Rs 2.26 crore.
* Groceries, fruits, and vegetables are abundantly available.
