BHIWANDI: The health team of Bhiwandi-Nizampura Municipal Corporation on Sunday sprayed anti-coronavirus, anti-bacterial mist on policemen deployed in Bhiwandi.
Police said the mist was being used by health team of civic body, which is sanitising the city and they also sprayed the same on cops posted at Shanti Nagar police station in Bhiwandi.
In Bhiwandi, so far not a single coronavirus case has been reported. The local police and civic administration are jointly taking all possible efforts to avoid the spread of coronavirus.
The civic body has so far home quarantined 62 people out of which 25 completed their 14-day period and remaining 37 are still undergoing the same.
