The dark corners of Reddit hide some disturbing custom car treatments, which the community there usually refers to as “shitty car mods”.
Today we bring you a worthy contender for this category, a Honda Civic that looks as if it fell victim to a unicorn with a brush and its overrated artistic talent. We’ve seen plenty of dubious car wraps in our time but we’ve rarely seen a wrap that covers both the exterior and the interior of a vehicle.
Yes, this tenth-generation Honda Civic has been doubly compromised as the cabin has been splashed with the same explosion of colors as the bodywork.
If you look closely at the first photo that shows a man standing near the car’s open driver’s door, you can see that he looks like someone who entered The Color Run but had a sudden change of heart and pulled out before being completely covered in all the rainbow’s colors.
His cap, shirt and shorts have splashes of color on them and there are some pink paint drops on the sidewalk as well. These clues lead us to believe he’s the artist responsible for this “masterpiece” and not a unicorn. In the same photo, he looks like he’s holding a smartphone in his hands, presumably using it to take photos of his freshly painted motorized canvas.
We don’t know about you but we sure hope this was a practical joke, though we imagine a joke as cruel as this one could have some unforeseen consequences for the author. We’re afraid this wasn’t a joke, however, and someone really digged this ridiculous Civic art car.
