UP: First Covid-19 positive case reported in Prayagraj

PRAYAGRAJ: In a late evening development, one of the Indonesian, who attended Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi on March 12 and 13 and arrived in Sangam city on March 22, was tested positive for coronavirus infection here on Sunday.
Chief medical officer, Prayagraj, Dr G S Bajpayee confirmed that one of Indonesia national, aged about 35 years, was tested positive here on Sunday. He added the positive patient was quarantined at Covid L 1 hospital, Kotwa.
CMO further added that a total of 23 samples were sent to KGMU for testing and 19 of them were tested negative for infection.
While one of them was tested positive, report of three others was still awaited.
