VADODARA: Second Covid-19 positive patient in Vadodara has been discharged from the isolation ward of state-run SSG Hospital.
The 27-year-old female, who was admitted in the isolation ward of the hospital on March 21, was discharged late on Friday night by the hospital authorities after re-test of her samples tested negative of COVID-19.
The female is daughter of the 52-year-old male Covid-19 positive patient who had succumbed to the virus infection early on Thursday morning. Her father had traveled to Sri Lanka as part of a group. But the female, who was not part of the group, had got infected after coming in close contact with other members of her family. Three other family members are still admitted at the hospital. Their condition is stable.
It is second instance where a coronavirus patient in Vadodara got discharged after recovery. Earlier, a NRI-based in Spain was discharged from the hospital.
