Chennai: Gym trainer cons woman, arrested

CHENNAI: A 36-year-old gym trainer was arrested allegedly for cheating a woman with a false promise to marry her at Valasaravakkam on Sunday.
According to police, a 23-year-old woman from the city had visited a gym near her house and had come in contact with gym trainer Ajith Kumar.
"While the duo were in relationship, the woman asked Ajith to marry her... he started avoiding the woman," said the police officer.
He also took money on several occasions from the woman. Based on a complaint, police arrested Ajith on charges of harassment and breach of trust. A city court remanded him in judicial custody.
