Sanya Malhotra has three releases lined up for this year Shakuntala Devi, Pagglait and Ludo. Every actor has a distinct process of preparing for their roles, and Sanya Malhotra says she thoroughly enjoys the process of prepping before a film. 

Talking about her preparation for Shakuntala Devi where she plays the role of her daughter, Anupama Banerjee, Sanya said, "My character in Shakuntala Devi is based on a real person, her daughter Anupama Banerjee. I believe that 70% of our job is done by the makeup and hair department. With the look in place, I got into her shoes easily. My director, too, helped me a lot to understand my character in the movie," Sanya said, explaining how she got the nuances right for the character.

With her aspirations, talent, and sincerity, she has excelled in every character that comes her way. The fans are looking forward to watching her on the big screen once again. On the work front, she will also be seen in Anurag Basu's untitled next opposite Aditya Roy Kapur. Both films are slated to release this year. The actress also is all set for the release of her Pagglait with Guneet Monga and Ekta Kapoor for which she has been shooting for, in Lucknow.
