Two commit suicide in separate incidents

Nagpur: Two suicides, including one at Hot Chips, were reported at different locations in the city. Police have registered a case of accidental death in both the cases and launched an investigation.
In the first incident, a 21-year-old man from Tamil Nadu committed suicide by hanging himself in his rented shop off Chhaoni Road. Sagadevan Swami took the extreme step when he was alone.
According to the police, Swami had come to city along with his elder brother a few months back. The duo took two shops on rent in different locations.
On Saturday, Swami went to his shop and hanged himself in the second room. The incident came to light after some customers gave him a call. When he didn’t respond, they entered the second room of the shop where they found him hanging. After being informed, Sadar police arrived at the spot in no time.
Swami’s brother Prakash, too, learnt about the incident and rushed to the shop.
Cops said the reason behind Swami’s suicide is still unknown.
In another incident, Arun Hedau, 55, died at Mayo Hospital on Saturday, days after he consumed poison at his home in Lalganj. According to the police, Arun took the extreme step on March 3 when he was alone at home.
He was taken to hospital by his family members but he died while undergoing treatment. Shanti Nagar police have registered a case accidental death.
