The benchmark BSE sensex crashed over 1, 600 points on Monday after the county confirmed more than 100 cases of coronavirus. The Nifty50 index slipped below the 9,500-mark in the opening trade. Last week, the sensex had registered a new low. The fear of economic slowdown is high after the global outbreak of coronavirus. The union health and family welfare ministry said there are 110 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country. "A total of 110 confirmed COVID-19 cases reported across India, including 17 foreign nationals, " the ministry said.
