After first having cancelled live audiences for the Daily Show, Trevor Noah has announced that the show will not be filming episodes for the next week due to the threat of the coronavirus.
In a video, the comedian says: "We at The Daily Show has decided that we are not going to be having shows next week. We won't be recording anything from the studio because we are trying to do our part to socially distance ourselves."
He goes on to explain what social distancing is and went on to ask people to stay away from bars and closed restaurants.
"The longer we stay out there, the longer coronavirus stays a threat, and the longer the medical system will struggle.
"Stay home, stay safe, wash your hands, facetime your friends, and hopefully soon we will see the other side of it."
