Police hunt 'person of interest' after young Queensland man shot dead
Police are trying to track down a "person of interest" after a young south-east Queensland man was shot in the head last week and died from his injuries.
Detectives want to question Nathan Paul Caulfield, 32, in relation to the death of 22-year-old victim Michael Zanco, who was shot in the Gympie suburb of Amamoor on Thursday.

The young victim was dropped at Gympie Hospital about 8.15pm on Thursday after the shooting, which took place at a Frayne Road property, about 20 kilometres south.
Police said last week Mr Zanco was driven to hospital in the tray of a ute.
He was treated by doctors before being transferred to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, where he died on Friday night.

Mr Caulfield has been described as Caucasian, about 180 centimetres tall, wearing a dark shirt and long tracksuit pants.
Detectives believe he may be armed and was last seen in a silver Ford Falcon ute with the Queensland registration 268 ZOW.
The vehicle was spotted in the Monkland area on Monday morning, about 15 kilometres north of the scene of the shooting.
Anyone who sees Mr Caulfield should not approach and instead call triple zero immediately.
Investigators have also appealed for anyone with dashcam vision from Thursday 5-8pm on the Mary Valley Road between Amamoor and Gympie to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
