English football has been rocked to the core by the outbreak of coronavirus with the next two weekends of action postponed.
Fixtures across the Premier League and the EFL have been suspended until the start of April but the expectation is that an extension is on the cards, with experts warning the worst of the coronavirus outbreak is yet to come.
That puts the remainder of the season in limbo and there’s uncertainty about the outcome over the course of the coming months
One of the biggest issues that clubs could face in the coming weeks and months is players out of contract at the end of the season.
A host of clubs from the top-flight have a number of stars whose current deals are set to expire on June 30 - but there remains a possibility that the season could be extended beyond that date.
And while it remains to be seen what the game’s authorities will do regarding the potential problem, below is every player who could be affected by the uncertainty over when the current campaign will come to an end.
