KITE to train 81,000 school teachers during break
Kerala Infrastructure and
Technology for Education (KITE) would be imparting IT training via online to over 81,000 primary teachers in the state, through a focussed intervention in 11,274 schools.
"In normal mode, the IT training would have been conducted in three batches in over 1,000 centres, with each centre having 25 teachers and two trainers. However, in online mode, the same training would finish within five days by making use of hi-tech facilities available in schools. As part of KITE's E-cube English programme to improve the English language efficiency, it was decided to provide specific vacation training for all primary, upper primary teachers during the April-May period. The proposed new system would facilitate the completion of the first part of the said training from March 18 to 27," said K
Anvar Sadath, Chief Executive Officer of KITE.
