Colaba has a new hangout spot perfect for post-work drinks

Kitchen Garden's Colaba outpost now offers more than just a healthy lunch

If you’re looking for a place to unwind after a rough day at work, Kitchen Garden by Suzette has you covered. The all-day organic cafe recently opened in Colaba, behind the Taj Mahal Hotel. The space offers options for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike, across food restrictions and different dietary preferences. And now, the cafe will offer a selection of wines and beers from local and imported brands. Head chef Jeremie Sabbagh shares, “We are so excited to serve wines and beers at Kitchen Garden for the first time. We curated a selection of the best local and imported brands, and are keeping it affordable and casual just as in France.” To go with your glass there’s an all-day tapas menu—we’re particularly excited about the locally-sourced cheese platter on offer.

In case you wanted to visit the outlet for a Sunday brunch, the breakfast menu is wholesome too with buckwheat pancakes, choice of eggs and omelettes, and a variety of breads to choose from. The 35-seater cafe is perfect for intimate gatherings, with tasteful modern interiors and decor to complement the heritage colonial building it is housed in. The spot is also great to hit up if you're in Mumbai for a short trip—it offers you a chance to soak in the architectural marvels of South Mumbai while treating yourself to the delicious offerings at the dining spot.
