Surprisingly easy maths exam boosts students’ confidence

Nagpur: Maths is generally one of the most daunting subjects and students prepare throughout the entire year for the exam. However, the exam held on Thursday provided a huge sigh of relief to the Std X CBSE students. They said that the exam was easy, to the point and 100% from the prescribed NCERT syllabus.
Bhavesh Choudhary from St Pauls School said the paper was indeed easy. “I had opted for standard maths. Section C was the easiest but section D was a little bit of a challenge. Thankfully, the time was sufficient to complete the exam.”
Shujat Qureshi, a maths teacher at Central India Public School (CIPS), also agreed that the exam was easy. “Everything was from the NCERT book. If the students studied it, they should have been able to crack the exam. The exam was a confident booster. Some of the students also told me that they could finish the exam in just two hours. They are all expecting to pass with flying colours.”
Rishabh Chandak from BVM said he was able to finish the exam an hour before the stipulated time. “All the sections were pretty easy and straightforward. I am quite optimistic and expecting high marks this time.”
Shruti Anchalwar, also from BVM, said the final section was a tough nut to crack. “Apart from that, the exam was very simple and easy, especially the MCQs in section A.”
It was completely opposite for Anchalwar’s batchmate Shrushti Joshi. “Section D was the easiest and the MCQs in section A were challenging. However, I was able to finish the exam in time.”
Himanshu Lalwani from Delhi Public School found section B tough. “Other sections were relatively easy and I am confident that I will score good marks.”
