Two youths stabbed in Madhapar, one dies

Rajkot: One of the two youths, who were stabbed by an assailant, in Madhapar village on the outskirts of Bhuj in Kutch district, died on Thursday evening.
Police said the accused, Imran Sama, had stabbed Ramji Jogi and Ketan Jogi, both aged 25. While Ramji succumbed to his injuries at GK General Hospital in Bhuj, the condition of Ketan was stable.
In his statement, Ketan said he had a fight with Sama’s brother Mohsin.
“On the day of the crime, both Ramji and Ketan were attending a marriage function of their friend’s sister. Sama, who was also at the marriage venue, picked up a fight with Ketan, after which he flashed out a knife and stabbed Ketan. When Ramji intervened, he, too, was stabbed,” said an official from Bhuj B division police station.
