Be thorough with NCERT book, solve bio paper easily

Biology is a descriptive subject. Nevertheless, it is possible to get high scores just by following some easy steps. It is extremely important for students to be thorough with the NCERT textbook to be able to answer questions with ease. Revise the contents of each and every topic and sub-topics thoroughly from the NCERT text, diagrams and flow charts.
Students should lay more stress on the seventh, sixth and tenth units which have high weightage of marks, followed by the other units. Students should be calm and composed and use the reading time to get themselves acquainted with the paper and plan the answers which will help them manage time.
According to the latest CBSE sample paper, there will be 27 questions in all, divided into five sections. All questions are compulsory. There is no overall choice in the paper. However, internal choices are provided.
Students must be particular about spellings of key terms and names of biological species being underlined. They must use diagrams wherever required to highlight concepts. Diagrams should be drawn with correct proportions; overlapping or cross labelling should be avoided.
They should use examples and flow charts wherever necessary to help the examiner get a better overview of the concepts. Number the questions and their sub-parts correctly. Descriptive answers should be written in bullet points, using a simple language with the key words underlined.
I wish each of them good luck for their exam.
