JK CET 2020 application process begins today; apply till March 31

NEW DELHI: Board of Professional Entrance Examination, Jammu & Kashmir has invited online applications for the JK Common Entrance Test (CET) (Engineering)-2020 for admission to Bachelor of Engineering & Technology Courses for the academic session 2020 on its official website today i.e., March 12, 2020.

The interested candidates can apply online for JK CET 2020 through the official website of BOPEE — jakbopee.org — from today. the last date to submit online applications for JK CET 2020 is March 31, 2020.


JK CET 2020 will be conducted on April 26, 2020. The board will conduct the J&K CET offline.

Application Fee


Candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs 1200 to apply for JK CET 2020. The application fee can be paid online through national Credit card/ Debit card/ Net banking.


Eligibility


  • The Applicant should be a resident of J&K or Ladakh as the case may be.
  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized statutory Board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and with at least 50% marks for Open Merit Category candidates including the Children of Defence Personnel, Children of Para Military Force, Children of State Police Personnel and candidates possessing outstanding proficiency in sports and 40% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST and Other Socially and Educationally Backward classes.
  • Applicants should be at least 17 years old on 31st December of the relevant year (2020).
  • Candidates should have a valid Category Certificate, if applicable.
