100 principals, teachers, clerks debarred from UP Board exam evaluation in Agra
Image used for representational purpose onlyAGRA: Ahead of starting the evaluation process of UP Board examination answer sheets on March 16, the state secondary education council has debarred 103 principals, teachers and clerks in Agra division from it.
In this regard, regional secretary of the secondary education council has sent a letter with a list of debarred examiners to all the district inspectors of schools (DIOS) in the region.
According to the department officials, the list includes those examiners who were found guilty of carelessness and irregularities while conducting exams or in the evaluation process last year.
The list of debarred examiners includes 12 in Agra district, 53 in Mainpuri, 11 in Etah and 26 in Aligarh and one in Mathura district.
Agra’s DIOS Ravindra Singh said, “Ten teachers, one principal and one clerk of the district have been debarred from the evaluation process. Their details will be forwarded to the evaluation centres in the district. Principals of the schools have been asked to collect appointment letters of teachers for evaluation of answer sheets.”
Meanwhile, the secondary education council has determined five evaluation centres in the district -- Government inter-college, RBS inter-college, Fatehchand inter-college, Agra Municipal Corporation inter-college and Baptist Higher Secondary School. Five centres each have been selected in Etah and Mathura and four each in Firozabad and Mainpuri.
The state government has ordered the evaluation process be conducted under the surveillance of CCTV cameras and voice recorders. They will be monitored online from Lucknow. The DIOS offices have been asked to make the required arrangements in this regard.
