Bihar Board likely to announce class 10th and 12th results in March and April

PATNA: Amid the ongoing indefinite protest of niyojit teachers across the state, Bihar State Examination Board (BSEB) chairman Anand Kishor on Sunday announced that the results of intermediate and matriculation would likely to be released in the month of March and April respectively.
In the year 2019, Bihar Board released the results of class X and XII examinations in the month of March and April. Likewise, the Board has set a target to release the results on time, for which various types of preparations have been made by the Board.
Kishor said, “More than 75% of the answer copies of class XII have been evaluated by the teachers at several evaluation centres in Bihar. The evaluation of answer copies was started from February 26 at more than 100 evaluation centres. The evaluation of class X answer copies also started from March 5.”
The chairman said Bihar board would complete the evaluation process and examination cycle before time, so that students can take admissions in higher institutions in May and June.
He added: “The Board would again stood first among all state boards and national boards (CBSE and CISCE) in announcement of annual results of matriculation and intermediate.”
Around 12.05 lakh candidates including 5.4 lakh girls appeared for Class XII board examinations, which held between February 3 and February 13 at 1,283 examination centres across the state. Altogether 15,29,393 students including 7,83,034 girls wrote class X exam from February 17 to February 24 at 1,368 exam centres in Bihar.
