Due to hail storms in various districts of Rajasthan, there has been a lot of damage to crops. The Rajasthan government has also said that compensation should be paid for the loss. The government has said to give full compensation to the farmers for the loss of more than 33 percent.

Now on the instructions of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, the minister in charge of the affected districts will take stock of the damage done to the crops due to hailstorm in different parts of the state. Farmers affected by them will be assisted Disaster Relief Rules at the earliest.

Disaster Management Minister Master Bhanwarlal Meghwal informed this in the Legislative Assembly that the farmers will be provided full compensation for the damage caused by a hailstorm in the next 10 to 15 days to assess the damage caused by a hailstorm.

During this time, Bhanwarlal Meghwal has also announced financial assistance of four lakh rupees to his family on the death of two women due to lightning strikes in Nagaur. He informed that on receipt of 33 percent or more crop shortage, the agricultural grant will be given as per SDRF norms.
