An armed robber left a pizzeria empty handed after the restaurant didn't have any cash for him to take.
Terrified workers told the axe-wielding man they did not have cash but they would make him a fresh pizza to take instead when he stormed Pizza Hut in para Vista, in Adelaide, at 10pm on Sunday.
The man, who wore a bandana, threatened workers with an axe but he left with nothing.

An armed robber was left empty handed after he stormed a northern suburbs pizza bar carrying an axe, when he discovered there was no cash he was offered a freshly made pizza but declined and left the store
He is described of African appearance, around 185cm tall and was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans at the time of the incident.
Police were unable to locate the suspect.
