Tragedy as 18-month-old girl drowns after falling into a dam at a popular holiday park

An 18-month-old baby girl has died after falling into a dam at a popular family holiday park.
The toddler was unresponsive when she was pulled out of the water at Coonawarra Bush Holiday Park in South Australia.
It is unclear how long she had been in the dam for.
Emergency services were called around 11am on Sunday after guests spotted her in the water.

Paramedics performed CPR but were unable to revive her and she was pronounced dead a short time later.
Her death is not being treated as suspicious.
The girl and her family had a tent set up just 40m away from the dam, 7News reported.
The manager said there was about six staff members rostered on this morning. No one saw or heard anything.
He sent his condolences to the family.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
