To commemorate International Women’s Day, SLG Hospitals organized a 5K Run today. Started from SLG Hospitals, Nizampet, the Run covered Bachupally ‘X’ Roads, Kousulya Colony and back, and participated by over 200 people.
The objective of the Run to focus attention on women’s health issues, especially in the areas of obstetrics, gynecology, & infertility. Emphasis is also on the importance of preventive health checks so that any problem can be detected at an early stage for proactive measures to be taken before the issue becomes serious. This would make for effective treatment, faster recovery and even saving of money that would be incurred on treating complications arising from the disease.
