PU student ends life

Mangaluru: Fearing a poor performance in the ongoing PU examination, a student allegedly ended his life by jumping into a well in Vagga, in the early hours of Saturday. He has left behind a suicide note which stated he took the extreme step due to poor performance in the examination. The victim is Nandan,17, a resident of Kavalapadur, who was a science stream student. According to police, Nandan was seen studying till late in the night, after which he jumped into the well. A case has been registered at the Bantwal Rural police station.
