Builder, partner detained for liquor smuggling in Ulhasnagar

ULHASNAGAR: The Madhya Pradesh police detained an Ulhasnagar-based builder Mukesh Kimtani and his partner Manohar Keshwani on Friday for allegedly smuggling liquor worth Rs 42 lakh.
Police sources said MP police picked up Kimtani and Keshwani from where they were walking in Sapna Garden, Ulhasnagar. The MP police team produced them before local Central police station, who were informed about the duo's involvement in a smuggling case, wherein a container carrying illegal liquor worth Rs 42 lakh was intercepted coming from Indore into Maharashtra.
Dhamnod police arrested the driver, Istihaq Haroon, who is a Palghar resident. Haroon' told the police about Kimtani and Keshwani's involvement. The two have been taken to MP while the police investigate.
