Builder, his partner from Ulhasnagar detained by Madhya Pradesh Police in liquor smuggling case

ULHASNAGAR: The Madhya Pradesh police on Friday night detained a Ulhasnagar-based famous builder Mukesh Kimtani and his partner Manohar Keshwani in alleged case of smuggling of illegal liquor worth Rs 42 lakh.
Police sources said both Kimtani and Keshwani on Friday were walking at Sapna Garden in Ulhasnagar when police from Madhya Pradesh detained the duo .
Police later produced them before local police station where they informed about detaining the duo and that they are taking them to Madhya Pradesh.
The officials of Dhamnod police station said that on March 1 a police team nabbed a container carrying illegal foreign liquor worth Rs 42 lakh. They arrested the driver Istihaq Haroon, a resident of Palghar district of Maharashtra.
Rajendra Singh Bhadoria, Investigation Officer from Dhamnod police station told TOI, "Upon inquiry we came to known about the role of Kimtani and his partner and acting on the information we have detained both and the probe is on".
