The 26-year-old winger, who scored a try in South Africa's World Cup final win over England last year, currently plies his trade at French club Toulouse, who he joined from the Stormers in 2017.
Kolbe is currently on a short break from French Top 14 duty, and while he was happy to see old friends, he made it clear that he was not about to return to action for the Cape franchise.
The Stormers are not in action in Super Rugby this weekend as they enjoy a bye.
