Coronavirus scare: Two Kanpur businessmen back from Brazil quarantined

KANPUR: Two Brazil-returned entrepreneurs from Kanpur have been quarantined on suspicion of Coronavirus infection and their samples have been sent to King George's Medical University (KGMU) in Lucknow on Wednesday. The two travelled separately and one of them is a woman.
The health department took the precautionary measure after duo reported flu-like symptoms. Officials expect to get the report in one or two days.
The two businessmen returned last week and are residents of Saketnagar and Gujaini areas of the city. According to sources, the two returned via connecting flights and stopped over at Singapore and Thailand.
They have been kept under isolation in their homes. City-based specialist of contagious diseases Dr Dev Singh said samples have been collected as a precautionary measure.
