Bizman abducted in Gandhinagar

AHMEDABAD: A 43-year-old man, resident of Sector 25 of Gandhinagar, was allegedly abducted from his home on Wednesday evening by seven men brandishing knives and a pistol. Later, the abductors dumped him near his home and fled away in two cars.
An official of Sector 21 police said that Dharmendrasinh Raol, a resident of Suryanarayan Society in Sector-25, was walking in the front yard of his house at around 8am when seven men arrived in two SUVs.
The men got down in from of Raol's house and put a pistol to his neck. The others began abusing him and waving knives. They pushed him inside a car. Around three hours later, they dumped Raol near his house.
Some of the locals spotted Raol and took him to Civil Hospital, Gandhinagar.
Inspector Amarsinh Chauhan of Sector 21 police said that Raol, who was traumatized after the incident, could not speak much about the abduction and was unconscious.
"We have identified the vehicles and are trying to nab the abductors," said Chauhan.
