Shah's stance has been widely criticized on issues of pressure from illegal migrants, particularly people such as Bangladesh and Myanmar. During his political rally in Raiganj, West Bengal on 12 April, Shah said, "Illegal migrants are like termites. They are eating grains that the poor should know are taking jobs."
Apart from being the best in politics, Amit Shah is also an enthusiastic investor in the stock market. His top investments include shares of Reliance Industries worth Rs 2 crore; 1.4 crores in L&T Finance; And he has invested Rs 1 crore in TCS. Shah had supported Modi's demonetization move in 2016, saying it would help formalize the economy.
